Spiro Gear
Engineered for high efficiency, durability, and precise control in micro-actuators and industrial control valves.
Tired of trading company markups, communication gaps, and inconsistent batch quality in your motion control supply chain? Spiro Gear is the transparent, direct-from-source precision manufacturing partner you have been looking for. We engineer and manufacture world-class precision micro drives directly from our manufacturing floors to your global assembly lines under strict, repeatable quality control systems.
We believe in ultimate transparency. Below is a raw photographic journey of our manufacturing plant, toolsets, testing chambers, and quality inspection workflows.

Hanoi has transitioned rapidly into one of Southeast Asia's core high-tech manufacturing corridors. Fueled by investments in industrial parks such as Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Thang Long Industrial Park, and neighboring provinces like Bac Ninh and Hai Phong, Northern Vietnam is a booming base for electronics manufacturing, automotive assemblies, smart household appliances, and advanced robotics.
As factories upgrade from manual processes to Industry 4.0 automation, the demand for precision motion controllers has soared. Advanced electronics assembly, semiconductor packaging, automatic sorting lines, and IoT-driven smart meters require low-backlash, energy-efficient micro stepper motors and high-torque servo configurations.
Spiro Gear serves as a key hardware supplier in this shift, offering direct-from-factory customization that minimizes component failure rates, reduces lead times to Hanoi Port or Noi Bai International Airport, and complies with local assembly standards.
Building reliable automated devices in Hanoi requires components optimized for tropical environments:
Our commitment to zero-defect performance is backed by world-class machinery, processing equipment, and rigorous QA rooms.

Adapting manufacturing parameters to modern automated standards.
Exoskeleton joints and surgical robots demand high-torque output in a compact footprint. Brushless DC gear motors integrated with magnetic encoders provide closed-loop feedback, ensuring high precision and operator safety under load.
Water meters, natural gas systems, and automatic chemical dispensers rely on miniature stepper gear motors with high reduction gearboxes to provide the torque needed to turn ball valves smoothly and lock in position without continuous power draw.
From smart vehicle door locks to active HVAC dampers, modern automotive designs use micro-motors with high temperature resilience and low EMC emissions. Our permanent magnet motors provide reliable service under harsh engine-bay temperatures.
How Spiro Gear is driving the future of micro-motor architecture.
Our research and development pipeline focuses on three key areas: hybridization, integration, and decentralized control. By integrating drivers and magnetic encoders directly onto the rear endbell of 15mm and 12mm stepper motors, we eliminate complex external wiring, reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI), and save physical space in compact assemblies.
Additionally, we are expanding our production of high-performance planetary gear systems. By refining gear tooth profiles with NC slow-feeding wire-cut machines, we achieve low backlash (under 1.5 degrees) and high transmission efficiency, extending the lifetime of wearable devices, security camera pan-tilts, and advanced medical tools.
Our complete catalog of motors, controllers, and gearboxes is designed to meet strict industrial specifications.
Addressing engineering challenges, environmental specs, and supply logistics for Northern Vietnam's industrial buyers.
Permanent magnet (PM) stepper motors (such as our 15mm mini ranges) utilize a permanent magnet rotor, which offers cost-efficient designs with moderate torque and steps per revolution (typically 20 steps, or 18 degrees per step). They are excellent for cost-sensitive valve systems and consumer products. Hybrid stepper motors combine the rotor design features of PM and variable reluctance motors, allowing for much smaller step angles (typically 1.8 degrees) and higher holding torque, making them ideal for precise positioning in medical and printer controls.
Hanoi’s high relative humidity can cause condensation inside the motor housing, leading to surface oxidation on the stator stack, winding degradation, and bearing corrosion. To prevent this, we utilize anti-rust coatings on all iron cores, custom vacuum-impregnated enamel wires, and sealed double ball bearings. We can also provide custom IP54-rated external enclosures for equipment installed in non-climate-controlled factory floors.
Yes, custom design is our core specialty. Our precision machine shop (featuring high-precision CNC lathes, NC wire-cutting, and hobbing machinery) allows us to customize D-cut, round, or splined shafts down to ±0.005mm tolerances. We also design customized gear boxes with reduction ratios ranging from 1:10 up to 1:1000 to deliver specific speed and torque outputs within your size envelope.
Every shipment is accompanied by a comprehensive Quality Inspection Report containing dimensional audits, winding resistance validation, torque-frequency curves, and electrical insulation tests. Material sheets confirming RoHS and REACH compliance are also supplied, along with standard Certificate of Origin (CO) documents to facilitate smooth customs clearance under regional trade agreements.
Standard prototype requests are completed and shipped within 10 to 15 days. Batch production (5,000 to 50,000 units) typically takes 25 to 30 days. Shipping from our facility to Hanoi via truck (overland route through the Lang Son border gate) takes approximately 3 to 5 days, while air shipment to Noi Bai Airport takes 1 to 2 days, providing highly responsive delivery options compared to long maritime transit routes.
